What I did for this project was draw a lady Jack of spades. Meghan was kind enough to show me a picture of a Lady Jack and I loved it. I then drew it, but put different characteristics into it so I wasn't coping. After she was colored I then put checkers in the back ground. I think that really brought her out very nicely. After finishing up the checkers I splattered purple paint. It contrasted well with the white and blacks checkers and her black and red outfit! The J's in the corners were red and that came out great.
Some problems I faced with this project was coloring her. Everything seemed to be either black white or red. Her shoes originally were suppose to be both black, but because of the checkers in the back ground I was unable to see her shoes. This certainly was a problem so I started brain storming. What color could I make her shoes that would go great with her outfit. Then it hit me! I'll make her shoes red and black and stripes! That was an amazing solution because it turned out great and I was very happy.
I am very happy with this project. Not only am I not creative, i'm not the best artistic problem solver. This project made me realize that I can come up with a solution with the problems. I also love how she turned out. She came off as sexy and I loved it! Her face was disappointing only because it was terribly put together but other than that I am very happy on how this project turned out!
